Film digitizing is the process of converting traditional analog film into a digital format copy. This process is extremely beneficial for the long-term storage and archiving of processed films. Digitized films may be electronically shared and reviewed remotely, as well as used to directly compare current digital images with previously produced film radiographs in asset monitoring applications.
